Meet Kevin Rondeau

As the second generation owner of Rondo Pools, I am very proud of my two-plus decades of working for our family business. Born in the suburbs of Boston, MA in 1974, our family moved to AZ in the summer of 1979. Being only 4 when we moved, I consider myself to be an AZ native with the exception of my allegiances to the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots to which I still hold strong. My part time job working for our pool service department over my college summers quickly turned into a full-time job after graduating from NAU with a BA in Marketing in 1996.

Since then, my tenure at Rondo Pools has included more than a decade learning all aspects of the business followed by a decade as the owner/operator. I consider myself very lucky as the pool industry provides me with a unique opportunity to combine my creative side with pool design along with my analytical side with business management. However, the most rewarding part of my job will always be meeting the people and families we work with and seeing how excited they with the beautiful pools that we create for them.

Meet Bob Rondeau

As the founder of Rondo Pools, I am very proud of the company that my family and I have built. I’ve watched the company grow from its meager beginning to being one of the nation’s finest pool builders. I’ve especially enjoyed mentoring my sons as they’ve taken over management roles of the business over the past two decades. With my sons at the helm, I’ve spent my last decade on my favorite segment of the industry, building beautiful commercial pools, spas, and water features. After a brief experiment with retirement and learning that it is not all that it’s cracked up to be, I now enjoy splitting my time between traveling, golf, and work.

Meet David Wilson

I bring over 30+ years of construction and project management experience to the Rondo Pools family. Prior to joining their team in 2001, I was founder and owner of a full service rough and finish construction company that I developed, operated, and then sold in Livonia, MI prior to venturing out to the warm state of Arizona. One of the first jobs I had in Arizona was for Bob Rondeau himself, and after witnessing the quality and integrity I put in to my work first hand, he offered me this career opportunity on the spot.

I quickly became “hands-on” with my co-workers and our sub-contractors to fully understand the industry and all of the work that goes in to building the perfect pool. During my tenure with Rondo, I have been involved with building nearly a dozen award-winning pools. I now have the pleasure of managing our construction department and running all of our commercial projects. When I can find spare time, I do enjoy vacationing, off-roading, and spending time with my kids and grandson.

Meet Terri Millsap

I was born in Nevada, but with a father in US Air Force, I had the opportunity to travel and live all over the US. I spent my childhood growing up in many states including Colorado, Washington, Wyoming, and even Alaska, and those experiences have instilled in me a love for the great outdoors.

I’ve had a number of jobs over the course of my life, but my affinity for numbers led me to getting a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from DeVry University in 2002. I started with Rondo Pools in 2004 and still happy to be part of the Rondo Team more than a decade later. When not crunching number, I enjoy spending time with my 7 grand-kids or watching my favorite football team …Go Seahawks!

Meet Bryan Clarkson

I believe that your backyard should be a private paradise for you, your family, and friends. I don’t see myself as “just” a pool designer. After 16 years of working with Rondo Pools; I have gained an excellent understanding of both the elements that make for a beautiful poolscape and the necessary features, hydraulics, and engineering it takes to function effectively for the years to come.

My goal is to utilize my extensive background in pool-building and design to create the pool and/or spa of your dreams. I try to combine what I “see” when I enter your yard with your desires, ideas, and needs. Together as a team we will create a project that you will be truly proud of! I really look forward to helping you create the backyard you’ve always wanted!

In October of 2014, I was given an incredible opportunity to work for Rondo Pools. I had been an admirer of Rondo Pools for many years and to be invited to be a member of the Rondo team was a dream comes true. I look forward to many successful years ahead with Arizona’s premier pool builder.

Meet Bryan Ennega

I started in the swimming pool industry in 1998 as a superintendent for a pool company in California. After three years, I was promoted to sales and design where I resided for the following three years. After six years in the pool business, I branched off on my own and started a swimming pool construction company named Aquatecture Pools. After four wonderful years with Aquatecture, I decided to go back to school and peruse a career in teaching and coaching football. In the summer of 2012 I graduated from Sacramento State University with my degree in World History. Even with the degree, I could not walk away from pools and in August of 2012 I moved to Austin, Texas to design and sell pools once again.

Meet Larry Martin

It is great to be a part of such an outstanding team here at Rondo Pools and to be able to bring my knowledge and experience to our customers. I moved to the valley in 1997 from a small town in Montana. Within a year, I found myself involved in the thriving pool industry. Starting as a CAD designer, I quickly moved through the ranks and learned all aspects of the business. From sales to construction to pool operation and repair, I have experienced the entire life-cycle of a pool, which gives me quite an edge over many of my pool industry colleges.

This expertise is showcased in my ability to design and build both residential and commercial projects. Although Phoenix is now my home, my passion for the mountains and high country will always remain. When I am not designing a huge commercial project or helping someone with their own backyard resort I enjoy camping, elk hunting, Sky diving, fishing.

Meet Bob Snyder

I was always exposed to the water growing up in Southern California; whether it was surfing, water skiing or swimming in my own pool. As a teenager I worked for a pool builder and maintained their display pools as well as learned drafting and pool design. After that, my career was in printing and advertising for 10+ years in California and continued after moving to Arizona in 1987. I joined Rondo Pools in 1994 until 2005.

During my first tenure at Rondo Pools I enjoyed building hundreds of pools specializing in the North Valley, several are award-winning. I have experience building on some of the most difficult terrains in the Valley for 20+ years. My hands-on approach ensures quality. I am excited to be back on the Rondo Team. I look forward to another robust tenure, building beautiful works of water. Outside of work, I enjoy being with family and friends and in the great outdoors; dirt biking, snow skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, golf and relaxing pool side.

Meet Shawn Lach

I was born in Deer Born Heights, Michigan. I began my journey in the Pool & Spa Industry in 2004 after 12 years in the automotive industry. My experience ranges from sales and design thru all aspects of construction. Over the years, I have been privileged to be involved in some beautiful backyard projects and am looking forward to many future years of building beautiful poolscapes for our clients. My greatest enjoyment comes in spending time with my children, fishing and classic car shows.

Meet Rik Scherbing

Like many people in Arizona I am a transplant from the Midwest. Born in Chicago but raised in Scottsdale, I attended local grade and high schools and continued on to Arizona State University. It’s great living in a valley having a team in all of the major sports – especially with a family at home that are all sports enthusiasts! Entering the pool industry in 1986, I took a hiatus for my college years.

I re-entered in 1994 by coming to work at Rondo Pools & Spa’s and have now been here 20+ years. I love working in a field that is not constant. It’s been amazing to witness the evolution of what swimming pool designs have become over the years.

Meet Ben Hill

I was born and raised in Phoenix, and love everything the Great State of Arizona has to offer. As anyone who has flown over the valley can attest to, the swimming pool industry is a very large part of the Valley of the Sun. After attending U of A (go Cats!), I returned to Phoenix and jumped at the opportunity to get into this great industry. After more than 20 years of swimming pool CAD drafting experience, I was asked to join the Rondo Pools team. I’m proud to work for a great family company that truly makes both employees and customers feel at home.

When I’m away from the office, I enjoy my family life. My wife & two kids join me in everything from watching movies, camping, playing in my Jeep and exploring the great outdoors – not the John Candy & Dan Akroyd classic (although a great movie), but the actual vast diversity of Arizona’s beauty & natural resources.

Remembering Rory Schloesser

Rory started his career with Rondo Pools in 1994. He was young, a fresh faced 19 yr. old, but we knew from the start that he was an amazing talent in the field of drafting. He was artistic, creative, and skilled. All that could be seen through his work in the early days when he hand drafted pools with pencils and paper. As times changed, Rory mastered the art of CAD and was one of the fastest most proficient CAD operators I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. Never was a detail too small to be overlook by this amazing talent. Through his knowledge and skill, Rory helped Rondo Pools design and engineer some of the most complicated projects that we have built to date.

On Thursday, September 21st , 2017, The Rondo Pools’ Family suffered the loss of our beloved employee and friend.   At a young age of 43, Rory had already battled Cancer for more than a decade. Rory fought this terrible disease with more strength, courage, and optimism than we could have ever thought possible. The physical toll that this battle took on Rory’s body was evident, but his unwavering strength of will was a testament to the amazing person he was. While we are relieved that he has been released from his pain and suffering, he will be sorely missed.  Rest in peace, good friend.

If you or someone that you know has ever been affected by Cancer, we urge you to support the American Cancer Society or other great organizations that are continually fighting to find a cure for this terrible disease.
