I believe that your backyard should be a private paradise for you, your family, and friends. I don’t see myself as “just” a pool designer. After 16 years of working with Rondo Pools; I have gained an excellent understanding of both the elements that make for a beautiful poolscape and the necessary features, hydraulics, and engineering it takes to function effectively for the years to come.

My goal is to utilize my extensive background in pool-building and design to create the pool and/or spa of your dreams. I try to combine what I “see” when I enter your yard with your desires, ideas, and needs. Together as a team we will create a project that you will be truly proud of! I really look forward to helping you create the backyard you’ve always wanted!

In October of 2014, I was given an incredible opportunity to work for Rondo Pools. I had been an admirer of Rondo Pools for many years and to be invited to be a member of the Rondo team was a dream comes true. I look forward to many successful years ahead with Arizona’s premier pool builder.

I started in the swimming pool industry in 1998 as a superintendent for a pool company in California. After three years, I was promoted to sales and design where I resided for the following three years. After six years in the pool business, I branched off on my own and started a swimming pool construction company named Aquatecture Pools. After four wonderful years with Aquatecture, I decided to go back to school and peruse a career in teaching and coaching football. In the summer of 2012 I graduated from Sacramento State University with my degree in World History. Even with the degree, I could not walk away from pools and in August of 2012 I moved to Austin, Texas to design and sell pools once again.

In October of 2014, I was given an incredible opportunity to work for Rondo Pools. I had been an admirer of Rondo Pools for many years and to be invited to be a member of the Rondo team was a dream comes true. I look forward to many successful years ahead with Arizona’s premier pool builder.

I began my career in the pool industry as a designer in Northern California early 2001. After a year and a half, opportunity came knocking at my door so I embraced it and moved to the beautiful valley of the sun. My first sales design position was for one of the large volume based pool builders here in the valley. Shortly thereafter I found my home, Rondo Pools and Spas.

I feel that our company truly cares about every customer’s total experience from the initial design phase until completion. I also noticed that I could really concentrate on the homeowner’s needs and expectations plus deliver a product that is unmatched throughout the industry. I really care about the customers I work with and love it when I can make their backyard dreams become a reality. When I’m not designing swimming pools I love to spend time with my beautiful daughter. My hobbies include ATV riding, fixing up old classic cars and water sports.

Member Bio

It is great to be a part of such an outstanding team here at Rondo Pools and to be able to bring my knowledge and experience to our customers. I moved to the valley in 1997 from a small town in Montana. Within a year, I found myself involved in the thriving pool industry. Starting as a CAD designer, I quickly moved through the ranks and learned all aspects of the business. From sales to construction to pool operation and repair, I have experienced the entire life-cycle of a pool, which gives me quite an edge over many of my pool industry colleges.

This expertise is showcased in my ability to design and build both residential and commercial projects. Although Phoenix is now my home, my passion for the mountains and high country will always remain. When I am not designing a huge commercial project or helping someone with their own backyard resort I enjoy camping, elk hunting, Sky diving, fishing.

Member Bio

Following my retirement from the U.S. Air Force, I moved my family to a new home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Like many of my clients, it only took me one summer before I became a first time pool buyer. It must have been an enlightening experience because shortly after I joined Rondo Pools as a Design Consultant in 1990. During the next 25 years, I designed and sold several thousand pools and won many coveted international design awards.

To this day, I still receive phone calls from past customers who have moved on to other homes in anticipation of me designing their next pool. In 2008, my wife and I retired in Wickenburg, AZ; however, I continue to serve Rondo customers in that community as Rondo’s Wickenburg Specialist. In addition to design, I now oversee all aspects of construction and have built pools for many of my friends and neighbors in the Wickenburg area. When not involved in the pool industry, my wife and I travel extensively and enjoy the many retirement amenities in Wickenburg.
